The Scroll

Kerouac's legacy lives on in his fans around the world. Inspiring us to dig deeper into ourselves and the world surrounding us, he exhorts us from the grave to celebrate and treasure every gift that passes our way.
If you have been touched by the force of Kerouac's words, please feel free to leave a message here - on our very own scroll.

I love this project! What a great team. And can’t wait for the book club to start. All things St. Pete just feels like all things Kerouac. Peace.

    To Whom It May Concern:
As a fifth-generation native of St. Petersburg and a librarian/comedian, I am so thrilled to see what you have been doing with The Jack Kerouac House. I was also actually born on Oct 21st, the day he died so it has always been weird to celebrate knowing that we lost one of our greatest writers on that same day. Anyway, I am looking forward to taking part in the On the Road book club so if you would like me to participate in any of the readings or events, please let me know.

A wonderful site about St. Pete’s famous resident, Jack Kerouac. Thanks for all your work! I think Jack is smiling down from that other world where he lives.
